The Frustrated One

I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand. - Confucius, Chinese philosopher & reformer (551 BC – 479 BC)

Welcome to my blog/ photolog… I’m a 25 year old Filipina from Baguio City, Philippines. Otherwise known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines.

I’ve lived in Baguio most of my life. Been to Singapore too. Lived there for about 5 years when my father was working there.

I’m just one of the millions of amateur photographers in the world.

I’ve always been interested in photography ever since my father brought himself an SLR which I borrowed once in a while whenever he is (not looking) abroad. As I like traveling too, I have come to love photography more.

The National Geographic Magazine which I borrowed from my auntie was also a great influence. I love looking at the photos in the magazine. The concept of travel and meeting people on the way generates this (unknown) inspiration and drive in me.

My first photography book was a KODAK manual my father bought. The rest was, as they say, history.

I have a lot to learn though. All these photography jargon and camera functions gets me confused once in a while. Although time does not permit it all the time, I try to learn from websites and books I buy (and save for endless months hehehe)

If anyone is interested to know more about me (which I doubt) or would just like to keep in touch, just send me an email at shedotcomph@gmail[dot]com…

And, of course, if you want me take snapshots of any place here in Baguio, leave me a message too. I can’t promise but I’ll try :)
